Poker Aces – how to wager them
Poker Aces references two aces dealt before theflop. It’s the strongest attainable pre-flop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this a good many competitors end up on the losing end when given this hand.
When you are dealt a pair of Aces, you just do not drop out before theflop. You’re positioned with the greatest possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.
Keep in mind, you’re trying to generate as much money out of this strong position. You want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply drive most individuals into dropping out and not laying a bet.
If you are in the starting position (1st or 2nd to place a bet), you will make a single bet. Any player with good cards will call, hopefully a player might raise. If someone has made a raise don’t jump to re-raise or call, wait for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your course of action will be to get rid of anybody that might get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you will trick 1 player into thinking that you’re bluffing.
If you’re in the center or later position (near the last to cast your bet) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even though you’re sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players drop out following the flop. If you don’t abolish your competition you risk losing your hand.
