Poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the other players attain 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus a sum in accordance with the original wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
