Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks

Online poker has become globally famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the other players receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with an amount equal to the initial wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out money equal to your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
