Caribbean Poker Rules and Tips
Online poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s value is equal to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a sum equal to the ante. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays money equal to your initial bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
