Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s first card, you have to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning ante, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a sum on par with the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pays money equal to your initial bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
