Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the casino. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a figure on par with the initial bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays chips equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
