Caribbean Poker Rules and Tricks

Internet poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the casino. After the bet is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure on par with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
